If you choose to send your child to science camp, he/she will attend during the week of February 5th.
The cost for camp is $330. There will be several fundraising opportunities available. I recommend that you start fundraising early if you plan for your child to attend science camp.
Science camp money is due January 5, 2018.

Monte Vista is now allowing families to pay for science camp using a credit card. There is a 3% convenience fee for each transaction. The link on the site is to make a full $TBD payment. Fundraiser #1:
Mixed Bag Design Sale - September 1st-15th.
You may sell the bags in person or have friends/family order online. Your child will earn 50% of the sales in his/her science camp account if you sell items in person. Your child will earn 40% of the sales for online orders.

Fundraiser #2:
Bowl-A-Thon - October 2nd
Students will ask friends, family and neighbors for pledges for the bowl-a-thon. They can pledge per pin or a flat rate.
Students must pay $5 to bowl 2 games. They also must have at least $25 in pledges or at least 10 per pin pledges.
We walk to the bowling alley as a group and you pick up your child at the bowling alley on East St. and Grant Line at 3:30.
Fundraiser #3:
Candy Sale - Begins October 3rd
Your child earns 50% profit on each box of candy sold. Each box of candy contains 60 candy bars and they sell for $1 each. That means your child will earn $30 for every $60 turned in.
Fundraiser #4:
San Joaquin County Raffle- Dates TBD (Probably in November)
You may buy/sell raffle tickets for $5 each. Your child gets 100% profit from this fundraiser. A Monte Vista family won first prize in 2015.
1st prize = $3500
2nd prize = $1000
3rd prize = $50
